The lead in the National League East will be on the line when the New York Mets and Atlanta Braves begin a colossal three-game series on Friday at Truist Park in Atlanta. The Mets (98-58) enter the series with a one-game lead over the Braves (97-59). The winner of the division will earn the coveted No. 2 seed in the NL playoffs and a spot in the Division Series while the runner-up will be forced to play a wild card series.

New York is a -125 favorite in the latest Mets vs. Braves odds from Caesars Sportsbook, while Atlanta is a +105 underdog. The over/under for runs scored is 6.5. First pitch is set for 7:20 p.m. ET. The game is one of 16 on the MLB schedule for Friday. (See up-to-date lines for every game on our MLB odds page.)

Before making any MLB picks or parlays, be sure to see the predictions and betting advice from SportsLine's proven computer model.

Now, the model has set its sights on the MLB schedule for Friday, Sept. 30, and has generated a four-leg parlay that would pay well over 21-1! The parlay doesn't start until 7:10 p.m. ET, giving you plenty of time to make your MLB picks.

We can tell you that one of the picks is the Rangers (+143) to beat the Angels. But the model has three other picks, including a play on an even bigger American League underdog! You ABSOLUTELY need to see them before locking in any MLB picks of your own.

So which AL underdog is a MUST-BACK? And what other teams do you need to include in your parlay for a payout of well over 21-1? ... Join SportsLine right now to find out which picks you should be all over on Friday, all from the model that is on a 14-3 run on top-rated money-line picks!
