The Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors square off in a marquee showdown at 8:30 p.m. ET on Saturday. Golden State is favored by seven points at home, while the Over-Under is set at 225 (see up-to-date odds for every game this week on our NBA odds page).

Before making any Lakers vs. Warriors picks, you NEED to check out the NBA predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every NBA game 10,000 times and has returned well over $10,000 in profit for $100 players on its top-rated NBA picks over the past three-plus seasons. The model enters Week 17 of the 2021-22 NBA season on a stunning 65-36 roll on all top-rated NBA picks, returning almost $2,400. Anyone following it has seen HUGE returns.

The model knows the Lakers are very good in specific categories. Los Angeles is No. 8 in the league in field-goal percentage, converting 46.6 percent of shot attempts. The Lakers are also proficient on 2-point shots, making 54 percent, and Los Angeles is in the top seven of the NBA in free-throw attempts (22.1 per game) and fast-break points (14.6 per game). Los Angeles produces 48.0 points in the paint per game and, on defense, the Lakers generate 14.6 turnovers per game. That includes 5.6 blocked shots and 8.0 steals per game, with Golden State ranking only No. 29 in the league in ball security.

The model also knows the Warriors are elite in certain offensive categories, including assists and 3-point shooting. However, Golden State is even better on defense, leading the NBA in allowing 103.9 points per 100 possessions. The Warriors are No. 1 in the league in field-goal percentage allowed (42.9 percent) and 3-point percentage allowed (33.1 percent), and opponents are shooting only 50.1 percent on 2-point shots. Golden State is also in the top six of the NBA in points allowed in the paint, assists allowed, turnovers created, and steals.

Now, it has set its sights on Lakers vs. Warriors. We can tell you the model is leaning under the total, and it also says one side of the spread hits in almost 70 percent of simulations! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any NBA picks.
