The Denver Broncos made Javonte Williams the third running back selected in the 2021 NFL Draft with the 35th overall selection. Williams worked behind fellow exciting rookie running back Michael Carter during his first two seasons at North Carolina, but he emerged to lead the team with 22 touchdowns and nearly 1,500 scrimmage yards in 2020. Williams will again have to compete for touches in his first season at the NFL level, as he is set to split Denver's backfield snaps with the veteran Melvin Gordon.
Williams is a consensus top-three RB for dynasty rookie draft purposes, but just how high should he be ranked at the position in season-long leagues while in a potential time share as a rookie?
