The Ravens waited until after their Week 7 bye to give J.K. Dobbins a crack at the starting gig, and he took it and never looked back. From that point on, Dobbins ranked as the RB12 in Fantasy. He maintained his elite yards per carry average even while handling a much larger workload and finished the season with the highest average (6.01 yards per carry) of any running back with 100-plus carries since 2000.
The dominant 22-year-old rusher is a clear top-15 RB pick for Dynasty startup draft purposes. But does he deserve to be ranked that high in season-long leagues while questions remain about his role heading into Year 2?
SportsLine Fantasy Football analyst Jacob Gibbs provides a data-driven deep dive to answer that question and address anything that stood out from his advanced statistical profile. These player profiles are just a small part of the advanced analytical prep Gibbs is providing for SportsLine users heading into the 2021 Fantasy football season -- if you want an easy way to keep up with all of the information that will be published this spring and summer, this Advanced Fantasy Football Stat Guide will be updated with links to each article as they go live.
