Anyone who has followed it has seen HUGE returns.
The model has taken into account that the Cougars allow just 55 points per game. That number is skewed by an overtime victory against Hofstra in the opener, and they are allowing 48.3 points in the last three. Fabian White led Houston with 21 points and eight rebounds Monday as leading scorer Marcus Sasser had a quiet nine-point outing. The Cougars forced 20 turnovers, had 11 steals and blocked four shots while turning it over just 10 times.
The simulations also have taken into account that the Wisconsin duo of Brad Davison and Johnny Davis are dangerous. They showed that again Monday, as Davis scored 21 and Davison had 19 against the Aggies. The Badgers fell into an early 16-4 hole, but they were resilient and disciplined in turning the tables. Wisconsin has size inside with 7-footer Steven Crowl and 6-9 Tyler Wahl, who combine for an average of almost 19 points and 11 rebounds.
