The Charlotte Hornets and Cleveland Cavaliers meet for a potential playoff preview at 7 p.m. ET on Wednesday. Cleveland is favored by four points at Caesars Sportsbook, while the Over-Under is set at 218.5 (see up-to-date odds for every game this week on our NBA odds page). Before making any Hornets vs. Cavaliers picks, you NEED to check out the NBA predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every NBA game 10,000 times and has returned well over $10,000 in profit for $100 players on its top-rated NBA picks over the past three-plus seasons. The model enters Week 19 of the 2021-22 NBA season on a stunning 71-44 roll on all top-rated NBA picks, returning over $2,100. Anyone following it has seen HUGE returns.

The model knows Charlotte can be devastating on offense. Charlotte produces 27.2 assists per game, a top-five figure, and the Hornets average more than two assists for every turnover. The Hornets assist on more than 64 percent of field goals, No. 5 in the NBA, and Charlotte commits a giveaway on only 13.1 percent of possessions. Charlotte is No. 2 in the NBA in fast break points, averaging 15.8 per game, and the Hornets are in the top three in points in the paint (50.8 per game). The Hornets are also in the top ten of the league in three-pointers (13.7 per game) and three-point accuracy (35.7 percent) for the season.

The model also knows Cleveland's defense is fantastic. The Cavaliers are No. 4 in the league in overall defensive efficiency, giving up 106 points per 100 possessions this season. Cleveland leads the NBA in free throw prevention, yielding only 18.2 attempts per game, and the Cavaliers are in the top four of the NBA in field goal percentage allowed and two-point percentage allowed. Opponents are averaging only 23.2 assists per game against Cleveland, and the Cavaliers are holding opponents to only 12.3 second-chance points per game. Charlotte is No. 29 in the league in offensive rebound rate, and the Hornets are No. 28 in the NBA in free throw accuracy.

Now, it has set its sights on Hornets vs. Cavaliers. We can tell you the model is leaning over the total, and it also says one side of the spread hits in well over 60 percent of simulations! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any NBA picks.
