Teams hoping to punch their ticket to the American League Championship Series clash when the Cleveland Guardians meet the New York Yankees in Game 5 of the ALDS in New York on Tuesday afternoon after Monday's game was rained out. The Yankees (99-63), who won the AL East, forced a deciding fifth game with a 4-2 win over the Guardians (92-70) on Sunday. New York is looking to reach the ALCS for the first time in three years. Cleveland last reached the ALCS in 2016, the year they lost to the Chicago Cubs in seven games in the World Series. Nestor Cortes will now start for the Yankees while the Guardians will stick with Aaron Civale as their Game 5 starter.
