Teams off to a good start to the season meet in nonconference action when the Florida State Seminoles battle the third-ranked Purdue Boilermakers on Tuesday. Tipoff from Mackey Arena in West Lafayette, Ind., is set for 7 p.m. ET. Purdue is favored by 11.5 points at Caesars Sportsbook, while the over-under for total points is set at 142 (see up-to-date odds for every game this week on our college basketball odds page).

Before making any Florida State vs. Purdue picks, you NEED to check out the college basketball predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every Division I college basketball game 10,000 times. Over the past five-plus years, the proprietary computer model has generated an impressive profit of almost $2,100 for $100 players on its top-rated college basketball picks against the spread. Anyone who has followed it has seen HUGE returns.

The model knows Purdue has four players averaging in double figures, including sophomore center Zach Edey. Edey has reached double figures in five of six games, including three games of 20 points or more. In six games, he is averaging 18.7 minutes, 17.7 points, 7.7 rebounds, 1.5 blocks and 1.2 assists. He is nearly automatic from the floor, connecting on 75 percent of his field goals and 84.8 percent of his foul shots. He competed with Team Canada at the FIBA U19 World Cup in Latvia, leading the Canadians to the bronze medal after averaging 15.1 points, 14.1 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game.

The model also knows after losing at Florida on Nov. 14, the Seminoles have been red hot with four players scoring nine or more points. Senior forward Malik Osborne has been a force, and is averaging 12.5 points and 7.7 rebounds per game. He has reached double figures in five of six games, including back-to-back 18-point performances to open the season, and has one double-double. He is coming off a 10-point, seven-rebound effort in the overtime win over Boston University on Wednesday.

Now, it has set its sights on Florida State vs. Purdue. It is leaning Over on the total and it also says one side of the spread hits in well over 60 percent of simulations! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any college basketball picks.
