FCS odds, picks, analysis for Nov. 13 games: College football expert reveals his top weekend predictions
SportsLine college football expert Emory Hunt has made his selections for this weekend's FCS games
This weekend's FCS schedule has a number of intriguing matchups, including a Pioneer League matchup between Davidson (7-1) and Dayton (5-4). Davidson can move closer to clinching the outright league title, while Dayton with a win can leave the door open for San Diego. Davidson is a 4.5-point favorite in the latest odds from Caesars Sportsbook.
Last week, Davidson buried a talented St. Thomas, Minn., squad 42-15 as the Wildcats ran all over the Tommies. Junior running backs Dylan Sparks and Aris Hilliard combined to score three touchdowns. Sparks carried 22 times for 122 yards (5.5 average) and one touchdown, while Hilliard rushed eight times for 89 yards (11.1 average) and two scores. It was Davidson's seventh win in a row.
Dayton, meanwhile, won its second game in a row with a 41-13 triumph at Stetson. The Flyers used a balanced offensive attack as senior quarterback Jack Cook was on fire. He completed 18 of 24 passes (75 percent) for 328 yards and two touchdowns. He was picked off once. Junior running back Jake Chisholm rushed 23 times for 119 yards and four touchdowns.
Before making any FCS picks or predictions for that game or others for this weekend, you NEED to see what SportsLine college football expert Emory Hunt has to say.
Hunt is the founder and CEO of Football Gameplan, which has been supplying analysis of all levels of football since 2007, and a former running back at Louisiana-Lafayette. He knows the game from a player's perspective. Hunt is 197-163-2 in college football over the past two-plus seasons, returning $1,477 to $100 players. He is 18-13 on FCS bets through Week 10. Anybody who has followed him is WAY UP!
Now, Hunt has crunched the numbers for Saturday's games and has posted his best bets. Parlaying these six FCS picks will pay around 12-1!
We can tell you he's picking East Tennessee State (-10) at Western Carolina.Â
"Things have gotten rather competitive in the SoCon as of late, but the Bucs still look like the team that will end up winning the conference and securing the auto-bid to the FCS Playoffs," Hunt told SportsLine. "Western Carolina has started to play well, winning three straight games heading into this matchup. However, the Catamounts will find it tough to consistently win at the point of attack, and that's where the Bucs have the advantage vs. many of the opponents they face."Â Â Â Â
Elsewhere this weekend, Hunt has made the call on Alabama A&M at Texas Southern and has found an x-factor in the matchup that makes a spread hit HARD. You ABSOLUTELY need to see what he's picking before you make any plays of your own.
