Rostering a player in your Fantasy lineup dealing with an injury always comes with some risk, so don't make the final call until you see what SportsLine NFL injury analyst Dr. Brandon Bowers has to say.

Dr. Bowers, a Doctor of Physical Therapy currently practicing in the outpatient orthopedic setting on northeast side of Columbus, Ohio, completed his undergraduate work at Siena Heights University. He earned his doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Toledo.

He is currently employed by Athletico Physical Therapy and treats a high volume of high school and collegiate athletes in the clinical setting. He's worked previously for a host of different websites serving as an injury analyst, publishing weekly columns, appearing on podcasts and radio shows to provide injury content.

He's broken down some of the most notable injuries heading into Week 9 and here's what he had to say about James Conner's (AC joint) outlook.

"There is a good chance Conner sustained a Grade 1 or Grade 2 injury, which is something that can be managed and allow him to play this weekend," Dr. Bowers said. "The Steelers may opt to limit his practice reps in order to reduce additional contact to the injured shoulder. Even if Conner does not see a high volume in practice today and tomorrow there is a chance he can still play on Sunday against Indianapolis. Re-injury risk is moderate.
