Putting a player in your Fantasy lineup dealing with an injury always comes with some risk, so don't make the final call until you see what SportsLine NFL injury analyst Dr. Brandon Bowers has to say.

Dr. Bowers, a Doctor of Physical Therapy currently practicing in the outpatient orthopedic setting on northeast side of Columbus, Ohio, completed his undergraduate work at Siena Heights University. He earned his doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Toledo.

He is currently employed by Athletico Physical Therapy and treats a high volume of high school and collegiate athletes in the clinical setting. He's worked previously for a host of different websites serving as an injury analyst, publishing weekly columns, appearing on podcasts and radio shows to provide injury content.

We can tell you Dr. Bowers is concerned that Panthers tight end Greg Olsen may be returning too early from his foot injury.

"Olsen was limited to participation in just seven regular season games last season because of a Jones fracture, which required surgery," Dr. Bowers said. "The tight-end went down during Week 1 of 2018 with a break of the same bone in his foot and has been working his way back since... Olsen is currently targeting a return to game action this week against Washington, which raises significant medical concern for his long-term health going forward. Earlier in the week he indicated there is a very real possibility for a second surgery to address the foot issue, but hopes to postpone surgery until the off-season. As for Wednesday, Olsen was a limited participant in practice and was able to run routes and catch some passes. His availability for Sunday will come into better focus as the week goes on. A return to play at any point this season in the absence of surgery is a recipe for disaster and could cause the situation to worsen before it gets better, so proceed with caution on Olsen's long-term outlook."

Dr. Bowers is also breaking down what challenges Joe Mixon (knee) and Brandin Cooks (concussion) face in Week 6, and has an in-depth look at Adrian Peterson's shoulder injury.
