Dr. Bowers, a Doctor of Physical Therapy currently practicing in the outpatient orthopedic setting on northeast side of Columbus, Ohio, completed his undergraduate work at Siena Heights University. He earned his doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Toledo.

He is currently employed by Athletico Physical Therapy and treats a high volume of high school and collegiate athletes in the clinical setting. He's worked previously for a host of different websites serving as an injury analyst, publishing weekly columns, appearing on podcasts and radio shows to provide injury content.

He's broken down some of the most notable injuries heading into Week 13 and here's what he had to say about Tyreek Hill's (hamstring) outlook. 

"Grade 1 injuries carry a usual timetable of 2-4 weeks for full return to play -- Hill will be two weeks removed from his injury this weekend," Dr. Bowers said. "He practiced in full on Wednesday -- in the absence of setback he will be in line to play this weekend against Oakland. Re-injury risk the rest of this season is moderate."
