Rostering a player in your Fantasy lineup dealing with an injury always comes with some risk, so don't make the final call until you see what SportsLine NFL injury analyst Dr. Brandon Bowers has to say.

Dr. Bowers, a Doctor of Physical Therapy currently practicing in the outpatient orthopedic setting on northeast side of Columbus, Ohio, completed his undergraduate work at Siena Heights University. He earned his doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Toledo.

He is currently employed by Athletico Physical Therapy and treats a high volume of high school and collegiate athletes in the clinical setting. He's worked previously for a host of different websites serving as an injury analyst, publishing weekly columns, appearing on podcasts and radio shows to provide injury content.

He's broken down some of the most notable injuries heading into Week 12 and here's what he had to say about Marlon Mack's (hand) outlook.

"Expect a multiple week absence for the running back in order to allow ample time for bone healing - this can be in the neighborhood of 4-6 weeks," Bowers told SportsLine. "If bone healing occurs without setback and normally, there is low risk of re-injury."

"The Falcons indicated Freeman is dealing with a foot sprain but have not specified the location of the injury," Dr. Bowers said. "Any sort of foot injury can be particularly problematic for a running back as the ability to change direction and cut while running becomes impaired. Conservative management of foot sprains involves shut down from sport activity and initiation of formalized physical therapy. As of this morning, Freeman had not been ruled out for Week 11, but he did not practice on Wednesday for Atlanta. His re-injury risk the rest of the season is moderate."

Dr. Bowers is also breaking down what challenges George Kittle (ankle, knee) faces as he tries to return to the field, and has an in-depth look at Tyreek Hill's hamstring injury. You ABSOLUTELY need to see his breakdowns before making any Fantasy decisions.
