If you draft Jonathan Taylor, Derrick Henry, Dalvin Cook or a small number of other top Fantasy running backs, you can rest assured that you've landed a workhorse back who will dominate chances in his backfield. But those types of running backs are in short supply, and the number of players at the position who will be taken in Fantasy drafts and even find their way into starting lineups regularly exceeds that small group. That's why it's crucial to understand the composition of every backfield to find value throughout 2022 Fantasy Football drafts and on the waiver wire
Before you finalize your Fantasy Football rosters for 2022, you need to see what Fantasy and NFL expert R.J. White has to say about every running back committee in the NFC.
If you're a regular subscriber to SportsLine, you probably know White from dominating NFL picks for years, but did you know he actually got his start in sports media as a fantasy baseball and football analyst? He even finished No. 1 among all experts for his draft rankings the first year FantasyPros tracked MLB expert accuracy on their site. White has continued to excel at season-long and dynasty Fantasy baseball and football formats, and this year he's sharing his Fantasy expertise with SportsLine subscribers.
Now, White has analyzed all 32 NFL backfields to determine which committees provide the most Fantasy value heading into the 2022 season. One NFC sleeper we can share: Bears running back Khalil Herbert. White has identified Herbert as a candidate to see increased playing time after impressing as the fil-in feature back last year with new OC Luke Getsy likely to lean more on a two-back rotation in Chicago.
White is also targeting one completely off-the-radar back who could be a piece of a surprise RB committee in 2022. Don't miss his NFC running back committee breakdown as you prepare for the 2022 Fantasy Football season, and you can find his AFC running back committee breakdown here.
