Before you lock in your Crystal Palace vs. Liverpool picks or English Premier League predictions, you NEED to see what proven soccer expert Martin Green has to say.
After working in the sports betting industry for several years, Green became a professional sports writer and handicapper and has covered the game worldwide. Since then, his European soccer picks have been spot-on. Green has generated almost $35,000 for $100 bettors since the 2017-18 season, and he has his finger on the pulse of the game all over the globe.
Green knows the Reds have beaten the Eagles 10 straight times, outscoring them 15-1 in the four meetings over the past two seasons. Liverpool also will be fired up after already losing ground in what is expected to be another tense race with Man City. Darwin Nunez has been a nice spark, and seeing him alongside 2021-22 Golden Boot co-winner Mohamed Salah (23 goals) and Luis Diaz (18 goals with Porto and Liverpool) should terrify any team. The Reds were unbeaten at home last season (15-4-0).
The expert also has considered that manager Patrick Vieira has worked wonders with Crystal Palace and that the team has some strong attacking options of its own. Wilfried Zaha (14 goals in 2021-22), Odsonne Edouard (six), Jordan Ayew (three) and Eberechi Eze (one in six starts) all bring a lot of pace. The Liverpool defense struggled against Aleksandar Mitrovic last week, and while the Eagles attack can't bring that physicality, Vieira was surely taking note of the weaknesses of the Reds' back line.
