Cowboys vs. Panthers lines, picks: Proven NFL model releases picks for Week 4 matchup

SportsLine's projection model simulated the Week 4 game between Dallas and Carolina 10,000 times and revealed its results

The Carolina Panthers will try to remain undefeated when they visit the Dallas Cowboys in Week 4 of the 2021 NFL schedule on Sunday. Carolina (3-0) is coming off a 24-9 triumph at Houston, while Dallas (2-1) cruised past Philadelphia 41-21 on Monday night. Kickoff from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Tex. is set for 1 p.m. ET. Dallas is a four-point favorite in the latest Cowboys vs. Panthers odds from Caesars Sportsbook, while the over-under for total points scored is 51.5. (See the latest NFL lines for every game this week on our NFL odds page.)

Before making any Panthers vs. Cowboys picks of your own, you NEED to check out the NFL predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, is up almost $7,900 for $100 players on top-rated NFL picks since its inception six-plus years ago. It went a sizzling 24-14 on top-rated NFL picks last season, returning more than $800. The model also enters Week 4 of the 2021 season on an incredible 123-81 run on top-rated NFL picks that dates back to the 2017 season.

The model also ranked in the top 10 on NFLPickWatch four of the past five years on straight-up NFL picks and beat more than 94 percent of CBS Sports Football Pick'em players four times during that span. Anyone who has followed it is WAY UP.

The model knows Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott has shown no ill effects from the ankle injury that ended his 2020 season after five games. The 28-year-old has thrown three touchdown passes in two of his three games this year and completed an NFL-best 77.5 percent of his pass attempts. Prescott is a major reason why the Cowboys are ranked fifth in total offense (416.7 yards) and sixth in scoring (30 points).

The model also knows Prescott will be facing the best defense in the league after three contests. Carolina is first in the NFL in total defense (191 yards), passing defense (146), rushing defense (45) and sacks (14), while ranking second in scoring defense (10 points). The Panthers also have performed well on the other side of the ball behind newcomer Sam Darnold, who has posted back-to-back 300-yard performances and is tied for the league lead with three rushing touchdowns, but will be without top running back Christian McCaffrey due to a strained hamstring.

Now, the model has set its sights on Cowboys vs. Panthers. We can tell you it is leaning Under, and it also says one side of the spread has ALL the value! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any NFL picks.
