Celtics vs. Pacers odds, line: Proven NBA expert reveals picks for Game 4 of Eastern Conference finals

Legendary handicapper Bruce Marshall reveals his picks for the Game 4 matchup between the Indiana Pacers and Boston Celtics

The Boston Celtics look to complete the sweep and advance to the NBA Finals for the second time in three seasons when they visit the Indiana Pacers for Game 4 of the Eastern Conference finals on Monday. Boston, which lost to Golden State in the 2021-22 Finals and is seeking its first championship since 2007-08, rallied from an 18-point, third-quarter deficit to defeat Indiana 114-111 on Saturday and take a 3-0 series lead. Tipoff from Gainbridge Fieldhouse is set for 8 p.m. ET.

Boston is the 7.5-point favorite in the latest Celtics vs. Pacers odds via SportsLine consensus, while the over/under for total points scored is 223.5 (see up-to-date odds for every game this week on our NBA odds page).

Before making any Pacers vs. Celtics picks, you NEED to see what legendary handicapper Bruce Marshall has to say.

Marshall, who for years was synonymous with the Gold Sheet, a famed sports betting newsletter, is an in-demand guest on numerous sports talk radio and TV shows across the country. Marshall's vast array of editorial work has been featured in the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the New York Post and many other outlets. He has won various handicapping titles and also is working on several book projects. Marshall has crushed his NBA picks this season for SportsLine members as he is on a 194-143 run that has returned more than $3,700 for $100 players. Anyone following has seen HUGE returns!

Marshall knows all five starters scored in double figures for the Celtics in Game 3. Forward Jayson Tatum led the way as he sank five 3-pointers en route to a game-high 36 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for his second double-double of the series and 10th of the postseason. Guard Jaylen Brown recorded 24 points and center Al Horford added 23 as he went 7-for-12 from beyond the arc.

The expert also is aware that Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton, officially listed as questionable for Game 4, missed Game 3 and may be out for the rest of the series with a hamstring injury, but the team did not suffer offensively on Saturday. Andrew Nembhard scored a career-high 32 points and fell one assist shy of a double-double, while fellow guard T.J. McConnell recorded 23 points, nine boards and six assists off the bench. Center Myles Turner did notch his second double-double of the series with 22 points and 10 rebounds.

Now, Marshall has taken an in-depth look at Celtics vs. Pacers and is going Over on the total. He's also found a critical X-factor that has him jumping all over one side of the spread!
