SportsLine's Projection Model has generated picks for NLDS Game 3 between Phillies and Braves

The Atlanta Braves and Philadelphia Phillies will meet for a critical NLDS Game 3 matchup on Friday afternoon. Philadelphia opened the series with a 7-6 win in Atlanta, but the Braves responded with a 3-0 win in Game 2. Right-handed pitcher Aaron Nola (11-13, 3.25 ERA) will be on the mound for Philadelphia, while rookie right-hander Spencer Strider (11-5, 2.67 ERA) is starting for Atlanta. This will be Philadelphia's first home playoff game since 2011 and its first home game this season since Sept. 25.

First pitch at Citizens Bank Park is set for 4:37 p.m. ET. Both sides are listed at -110 (risk $110 to win $100) on the money line in the latest Braves vs. Phillies odds from Caesars Sportsbook, while the over/under for total runs scored is 6.5. (see the latest lines for every game on our MLB odds page).

Before making any Phillies vs. Braves picks, you NEED to see the latest MLB predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every MLB game 10,000 times, and it entered the divisional round on a 20-11 roll on top-rated MLB money-line picks, returning more than $600. This is the same model that pegged the 2021 Atlanta Braves at 10-1 as one of three best bets to win it all last season. Anybody who has followed it has seen HUGE returns.

The model knows Atlanta was able to get past a three-hour rain delay on Wednesday, playing excellent defense to level the series. Shortstop Dansby Swanson and third baseman Austin Riley both made circus catches in the win and starting pitcher Kyle Wright threw six dominant innings. Ronald Acuña Jr. was hit on the right elbow by a fastball in the sixth inning, but he stayed in the game and is expected to play on Friday. Strider went 4-0 with a 1.27 ERA in four appearances against Philadelphia this season, striking out 34 batters across 21.1 innings.

The model also knows Philadelphia fans have been waiting for more than a decade for this moment, as this will be the team's first playoff home game since 2011. Philadelphia swept St. Louis in the NL Wild Card round and then scored seven runs in a series-opening win in Atlanta earlier this week. The Phillies played their final 10 regular-season games on the road and four consecutive playoff games away from home, so they will be motivated by their return home. Nola threw 6.2 scoreless innings against St. Louis in his postseason debut, allowing just four hits.

Now, it has set its sights on Braves vs. Phillies. We can tell you the model is leaning Over on the total, and it also says one side of the money line has ALL the value! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any MLB picks of your own.

So who wins Game 3 of Braves vs. Phillies? And which side of the money line has ALL the value? ... Join SportsLine right now to find out which side of the Phillies vs. Braves run line you should be all over on Friday, all from the model on a roll on MLB picks!
