World class horse racing takes place at Belmont Park outside New York City, and on Saturday the late Pick 4 begins with the Soaring Softly Stakes at 4:06 p.m. ET and ends with Race 10. Before you make any picks, you NEED to know how racing insider and accomplished horseplayer Bob Weir has handicapped the sequence.

A member of the Beyer Speed Figure-making team who is based in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., Weir is a two-time qualifier for the prestigious National Horseplayers Championship in Las Vegas. He has produced multiple five-figure days at the track over the years, including a $60,000 Pick 6 at Del Mar in 2014.

Last year he was red-hot in the Triple Crown prep races, hitting the superfecta in the Blue Grass Stakes for $1,678 and exactas in the Fountain of Youth Stakes and Tampa Bay Derby. He also hit the 19-1 winner of the Man o' War Stakes, the trifecta in the Pegasus World Cup, the superfecta in the Met Mile and multiple Pick 4s, including May 14's at Belmont for $1,851.

Last month he hit the late Pick 4 at Gulfstream Park for $641 and the exacta in the Florida Derby. Five weeks ago he nailed the Pick 5 at Keeneland and the exacta in the Lexington Stakes, and last week he hit the Pick 4 at Pimlico on Preakness Stakes Day.

For Saturday, Weir has handicapped the Pick 4 at Belmont, made his picks and constructed his tickets.

We can tell you that Weir is high on Love Appeals, the 6-5 favorite in the Soaring Softly Stakes, the opening leg of the Pick 4. "She has improved her Beyer Speed Figure in each start," Weir told SportsLine. Love Appeals is Weir's top pick in the Soaring Softly Stakes and an "A" horse on his Pick 4 tickets.

In addition, Weir is high on a double-digit longshot on Saturday. Weir says the horse "should only benefit from Saturday's additional distance" and could spice up the Pick 4. Weir is including this longshot on his tickets, and so should you. You NEED to see Weir's analysis before making any Pick 4 selections.
