The New York Yankees will make their fifth consecutive playoff appearance when they visit the Boston Red Sox for the American League Wild Card Game on Tuesday. First pitch from Fenway Park is scheduled for 8:08 p.m. ET. New York is ls the -135 favorite (risk $135 to win $100) on the money line in the latest Yankees vs. Red Sox odds from Caesars Sportsbook, while the over-under for total runs scored is eight.

Before making any Red Sox vs. Yankees picks, you NEED to see what SportsLine's No. 1 MLB expert John Bollman has to say.

Bollman combines MLB front-office experience with a deep statistical background. Bollman, who has a master's degree in biostatistics, worked in the Toronto Blue Jays' analytics department in 2018, focusing on high-performance sports science and player development.

In his last 276 MLB money-line picks, Bollman has gone 161-115, returning more than $5,100. Anyone who has followed his picks has seen HUGE returns!

Bollman knows the Yankees (92-70) avoided the need for a play-in game after Aaron Judge delivered a walk-off infield single in the ninth inning on Sunday to give the team a 1-0 home victory over Tampa Bay. New York had lost three of its previous four contests following a seven-game winning streak that included a three-game sweep at Fenway Park. Gerrit Cole (16-8, 3.23 ERA), who led the AL in wins and will take the mound on Tuesday, recorded a victory in the opener of that series after losing his two starts at Boston earlier this season.

The Red Sox (92-70) earned the right to host the AL Wild Card Game by going 10-9 against the Yankees during the regular season. Boston also averted the necessity of a play-in game after it scored six times over the final four innings to erase a four-run deficit and complete a three-game sweep at Washington. Former Yankee Nathan Eovaldi (11-9, 3.75) started opposite Cole on Sept. 24 and was pounded, but bounced back with six scoreless innings at Baltimore in his final start of the regular season.

Now, Bollman has set his sights on Yankees vs. Red Sox. We can tell you he's leaning Under to total and he's also found a critical X-factor that has him jumping all over one side of the money line. You ABSOLUTELY need to see what he has to say before locking in any MLB picks of your own.
