2026 Fantasy Football quarterback rankings: Josh Allen in a tier of his own, but then it gets messy
We're ranking quarterbacks for 2026 Fantasy Football leagues in tiers, starting with the unquestioned No. 1.
When it comes to quarterbacks you want in Fantasy Football, there's one gold standard who stands above all, and that is Bills signal-caller Josh Allen. He has been a part of the top tier of quarterbacks on every draft prep list for several years, but 2026 is potentially the first where he stands alone at the top.
Now, that doesn't mean he's a lock to finish with the most points in Fantasy, but it does mean he's the safest bet you can make at the top. Allen finished first in Fantasy points during his breakthrough 2020 season, then did it again the following year. He finished second to Patrick Mahomes in 2022 and first again one year later. He then "disappointed" by finishing fourth in 2024 before improving to second at the position last year.
It's clear he's earned his spot at the top, but what's the story behind no one else joining him as a Tier 1 quarterback? We'll get into that below as we break down each tier in my 2026 Fantasy Football quarterback rankings.
