Picking at the end of a 12-team Fantasy football draft allows managers to land two top tier players at the beginning of their drafts while those picking early may be left with just one. But it also means waiting quite a while between picks in even-numbered rounds and odd-numbered rounds, so it's important to know when those late drafters should snap up a quarterback or tight end, especially during the first half of the draft when building a solid base at running back and receiver is so important.
SportsLine's highly rated expert Jacob Gibbs has broken down his strategy for drafting at each stage of a 12-team league, whether you have an early, middle or late pick. The Fantasy Football Today newsletter writer and Beyond the Boxscore podcaster share his three rules for picking late at the Round 1-2 turn below before giving advice on who and what position to select in every round of the draft.
