The half-PPR format in Fantasy leagues is a bit of a blend of old and new, adding some additional value to receivers and tight ends while bumping up running backs who catch a lot of passes. Because it doesn't go as far as leagues that award a full point per reception, more priority can be given to the top running backs than in full-PPR leagues. Half of the top 12 picks of SportsLine expert Jacob Gibbs' 2025 half-PPR Fantasy football rankings is made up of running backs, while five receivers and one tight end make up the rest of the players ranked as first-round talents.
A Fantasy Football Today newsletter writer and Beyond the Boxscore podcast contributor, Gibbs uses a data-driven approach that has helped him consistently provide accurate rankings at every position. He has proven to be one of the nation's most accurate Fantasy rankers in recent years, posting the eighth-most accurate results over the past few seasons, according to Fantasy Pros!
Below, Gibbs breaks down his top 150 players overall for half-PPR scoring formats. We can tell you that he doesn't have any quarterbacks ranked in the first two rounds, but his top tier at the position is grouped together soon after that point of Fantasy football drafts. Check out the rest of his top 150 below.
