PPR formats in Fantasy football prioritize strong receiving corps and targeting running backs who contribute in the passing game, while those who don't derive as much value as receivers drop. For example, in the 2025 Fantasy football Half-PPR rankings put together by SportsLine expert Jacob Gibbs, superstar running back Saquon Barkley goes from being arguably the top overall player in non-PPR formats to outside of the top five overall players.
A Fantasy Football Today newsletter writer and Beyond the Boxscore podcast contributor, Gibbs uses a data-driven approach that has helped him consistently provide accurate rankings at every position. He has proven to be one of the nation's most accurate Fantasy rankers in recent years, posting the eighth-most accurate results over the past few seasons, according to Fantasy Pros!
Below, Gibbs breaks down his top 233 players overall for Half-PPR scoring formats. We can tell you that this is the only format in his 2025 Fantasy football rankings that includes a rookie receiver in his top 40 players. Check out his full Half-PPR rankings below.
