2023 YellaWood 500 odds, picks: NASCAR best bets for Talladega from proven racing experts

Racing experts Phil Bobbitt and Steve Greco reveal their picks for the YellaWood 500 2023 on Sunday

By@SportsLineUpdated: Oct 01, 2023 4:06PM UTC . 3 min read

The NASCAR Cup Series postseason Round of 12 continues on Sunday with the 2023 YellaWood 500 at 2 p.m. ET from Talladega Superspeedway. Brad Keselowski is the 9-1 favorite in the 2023 YellaWood 500 odds, while Ryan Blaney is 11-1 and Chris Buescher is 12-1. Some of the other 2023 NASCAR at Talladega contenders include Denny Hamlin (13-1), Bubba Wallace (13-1) and Joey Logano (14-1).

Before making any NASCAR picks, be sure to see what elite expert auto racing handicappers Phil Bobbitt and Steve Greco have to say.

Bobbitt and Greco built a predictive engine that consistently beats the books. They find huge value and aren't afraid of volume. Over the past two years, their followers are up nearly $23,000 on $100 plays. In fact, Bobbitt and Greco have nailed 15 outright NASCAR winners each of the past two years! Last season they called 150-1 longshot Chris Buescher winning at Bristol Motor Speedway and Erik Jones winning at Darlington at 60-1. Then they nailed Kyle Busch as an 11-1 winner in Fontana this season, Martin Truex Jr. as a 12-1 outright winner in Dover and Michael McDowell at 40-1 in Indianapolis last month. Anybody following them has seen HUGE returns!

For Sunday, we can tell you Bobbitt and Greco are backing Denny Hamlin to post a top-five finish in a prop bet that returns +285. He might only have one top-10 finish in his last 10 superspeedway starts, but he has been outstanding at this track. Hamlin has seven straight top-seven finishes in the fall race at Talladega, and he has six top-seven finishes in his last 10 tries overall.

Toyota has won two of the last three fall races in Talladega, but it has only won three times in the last 28 races overall. Ford has dominated laps led on similar tracks this season, leading 67.3% of laps at Daytona, Talladega and Atlanta. However, that has only translated to two victories in those five races. A non-playoff driver has won the playoff race at Talladega on six occasions, but the playoff race has been won by an existing playoff driver in eight of the nine races since the win-and-advance format was introduced in 2014.

In addition to their other NASCAR prop bets, Bobbitt and Greco have also identified multiple EPIC NASCAR longshots they love to win it all! Anyone who backs these drivers could hit it BIG! You ABSOLUTELY NEED to see their picks before locking in any NASCAR picks of your own.

So who wins the 2023 YellaWood 500? Which NASCAR prop picks should you make? And which longshots are a MUST-BACK? ... Join SportsLine right now to see the NASCAR at Talladega best bets, all from the experts who are up nearly $23,000 the past two seasons!
