The 2023 Sanderson Farms Championship begins at the Country Club of Jackson on Thursday, Oct. 5, as the inaugural FedEx Cup Fall continues with its second event. The latest 2023 Sanderson Farms Championship odds list young star Ludvig Aberg as the 10-1 favorite, followed by Eric Cole (20-1), Stephan Jaeger (22-1) and Keith Mitchell (22-1). The Sanderson Farms Championship marks the second of seven FedEx Cup Fall events that will determine PGA Tour status for the 2023-24 season. Troy Merritt jumped 15 spots in the standings following his tie for seventh place at the Fortinet Championship, moving from 133 to 118. The winner of this week's tournament will receive 500 FedEx Cup points. This is the tenth time that the Mississippi-based course will host the Sanderson Farms Championship, with Mackenzie Hughes defeating Sepp Straka on the second playoff hole last year.
