Are there rough rapids ahead for P.J. Fleck's "Row the Boat" regime at Minnesota? We'll see. Allegations arose over the summer regarding a toxic culture, and sometimes brutal and demeaning conditions within the program. The charges should not be dismissed out of hand as they have been made by multiple sources, including former starting performers for the Golden Gophers.  The allegations are particularly noteworthy in the wake of Pat Fitzgerald's swift removal from his position at Northwestern. So far, athletic director Mark Coyle has remained steadfastly behind his football coach, but as we have seen with such storylines, this is likely far from over.
