2023 Manhattan Stakes morning-line odds, picks, post time: Racing insider offers betting strategy for Saturday's race

The Todd Pletcher-trained Up to the Mark can win his second straight Grade 1 turf race when he leaves the starting gate in the 2023 Manhattan Stakes on Saturday at Belmont Park outside New York City. A 4-year-old son of Not This Time, Up to the Mark won the Turf Classic on the Kentucky Derby undercard. He has been installed as the 8-5 morning-line favorite in the 2023 Manhattan Stakes odds. The Charlie Appleby-trained Ottoman Fleet is the 5-2 second choice in the 10-horse Manhattan Stakes field. Post time is 5:54 p.m. ET.

One surprise: Weir is almost completely fading Up to the Mark, even though he's the 8-5 favorite. "The turf form at Gulfstream Park/Churchill Downs does not always translate as those courses are dramatically different than Belmont's," Weir told SportsLine.
