    2023 Big Ten Tournament: Proven expert reveals Michigan vs. Rutgers picks for March 9, 2023 matchup

    Teams looking to build on their NCAA Tournament resumes meet in the second round of the 2023 Big Ten Tournament on Thursday, when the ninth-seeded Rutgers Scarlet Knights battle the eighth-seeded Michigan Wolverines. The winner will take on top-seeded Purdue. The Scarlet Knights (18-13, 10-10 Big Ten) have struggled of late, losing two in a row and six of eight. The Wolverines (17-14, 11-9), meanwhile, have dropped four of their last seven games. Michigan defeated Rutgers 58-45 in their lone meeting during the regular season.

He scored 23 points and grabbed 14 rebounds in a 75-74 loss at Minnesota on March 2, and scored 10 points and grabbed 10 boards in the loss against Michigan. For the season, he has registered 13 double-doubles. In 31 games, all starts, Omoruyi is averaging 13.5 points, 9.8 rebounds and 2.1 blocks in 30.2 minutes.
