2021 Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Sprint odds, horses, line: National handicapping champion releases picks for Saturday's $1 million race

Jonathon Kinchen, who won $366,000 at last year's Breeders' Cup, is predicting a huge upset in Saturday's Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Sprint at Del Mar

The Bob Baffert-trained Gamine will try to defend her title as the Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Sprint champion when she takes on five rivals in the 2021 Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Sprint on Saturday at Del Mar in Del Mar, Calif. The defending champ has been installed as the overwhelming 3-5 morning-line favorite in the Filly and Mare Sprint odds. Bella Sofia is the 5-2 second choice in the Filly and Mare Sprint field, while Ce Ce is the 4-1 third choice.

Post time for the $1 million race is 3:05 p.m. ET. With an accomplished field ready to enter the starting gate on Saturday, you'll want to hear how handicapping champion Jonathon Kinchen has broken down the race.

Kinchen is one of the nation's most successful and recognizable horseplayers. An analyst for Fox Sports' America's Day at the Races, Kinchen won the National Horseplayers Championship Tour in 2015, a demanding, yearlong series of handicapping events across the country. And at last year's Breeders' Cup, Kinchen finished second out of 418 contestants in the prestigious Breeders' Cup Betting Challenge, which earned him $215,000 in prize money. After factoring in his profit during the 14 Breeders' Cup races, he took home more than $366,000 on the day.

Anyone who has followed him is up big.

Now, Kinchen has analyzed the Filly and Mare Sprint, made his picks and constructed his wagers.

One shocker: Kinchen is completely tossing Gamine, even though she is one of the biggest favorites of the entire Breeders' Cup, at 3-5 on the morning line. "The defending champ is talented, but she has gotten loose on the lead in every race this year," he tells SportsLine. "I don't think she will get loose on Saturday." Kinchen will not use Gamine on any his tickets.

Kinchen's top pick is a horse who could be "a possible freak." He is using this horse in his wagers, and so should you. You NEED to see Kinchen's analysis before making any Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Sprint picks of your own.
