Before locking in your Senegal vs. Burkina Faso picks or make any 2022 Africa Cup of Nations predictions, you HAVE TO see what sports gambling expert John Eimer has to say.
Eimer is a high-volume bettor who has vast knowledge of leagues and players across the globe. Since joining SportsLine, Eimer has covered the English Premier League, Serie A, the FA Cup and much more. The Indiana-based handicapper compiled a winning record of 260-133-1 with over 90 units of profit for his community on various platforms over a recent two-month stretch.
Eimer knows Senegal has the superior talent, with English Premier League players like goalkeeper Edouard Mendy (Chelsea), Sadio Mane (Liverpool), Cheikhou Kouyate (Crystal Palace) and Ismaila Sarr (Watford). The squad was the runner-up in 2019, losing 1-0 to Algeria, and it has lost just one match since the start of 2021. Kouyate and Sarr both scored as substitutes and Mane set up the first goal in a 3-1 quarterfinal victory against Equatorial Guinea on Sunday.
The expert also has considered that the Burkina Faso players are young and hungry. They have lost one official game since January 2021, to fellow AFCON semifinalist Cameroon in the group stage here. The team didn't qualify in 2019 after finishing third in 2017. Dango Ouattara scored the winner in the 1-0 quarterfinal win against Tunisia but was sent off late in the second half. Aston Villa's Bertrand Traore has 13 goals in 63 appearances with Burkina Faso.
