Jonathan Coachman is joined by expert sports bettors Mike McClure, Justin Perri and Allan Bell on The Early Edge podcast. They give you their best bets for the NFL and MLB for Sunday, Oct. 3.

McClure starts things off with a pair of prop bets in the NFL. The first is Over 60.5 receiving yards for Dallas' Amari Cooper in the Cowboys-Panthers game (1 p.m. ET). "I like this matchup for him quite a bit," Mike says. "This number is about 12 yards too soft. I think he gets there pretty easily."

His second play is Over 28.5 receiving yards for Green Bay's Allen Lazard in the Packers-Steelers contest (4:25 p.m. ET). "(Green Bay's) Marquez Valdes-Scantling is out for this game," McClure says. "(Lazard's) average depth of target so far this season is 17.4 yards. That's much deeper than even Davante Adams' average depth of target."

Perri has two MLB plays. The first is Under 9.5 runs in the Rays-Yankees game (3:05 p.m. ET). "Of the last 14 games these two clubs have played against each other, only four have reached double digits," Justin says. "The Rays usually have strong pitching, the Yankees' offense hasn't looked all that great."

He then goes with a money-line parlay of the Red Sox, who visit Washington (3:05 p.m. ET), and Blue Jays, who host Baltimore (3:07 p.m. ET) at -112. "(The Blue Jays are facing) Bruce Zimmermann, who just really hasn't been all that good for the Orioles," Perri says. "And then I expect Chris Sale, for the Red Sox, to get it done today."

Bell wraps things up with three NFL prop bets. The first is Under 22 points in the first half of the Titans-Jets game (1 p.m. ET). "The Titans are only averaging nine points per half this season. And today, no A.J. Brown, no Julio Jones, it's going to be only the Derrick Henry show," he says. "The Jets in the first half this year are averaging one point per game."

His next play is Over 0.5 interceptions for Carolina's Sam Darnold in the Panthers-Cowboys contest. "No Christian McCaffrey for the Panthers today going up against the Cowboys, who lead the NFL in takeaways," Allan says.

Bell's final play is Over 0.5 interceptions for Arizona's Kyler Murray in the Cardinals-Rams matchup (4:05 p.m. ET). "He is averaging 1.3 interceptions per game this season and is going up against Sean McVay and the Rams," he says. "McVay is 8-0 straight up in his career against the Cardinals."
