Jonathan Coachman is joined by expert sports bettors Allan Bell, Justin Perri and Larry Hartstein on The Early Edge podcast. They give you their best bets for Major League Baseball, the PGA, the Premier League and Serie A for Sunday, Aug. 29, as well as some upcoming college football plays.

Coach starts things off with three SportsLine Plays of the Day. The first is Manchester United (-140) to beat Wolverhampton in a Premier League match (11:30 a.m. ET). The next two are in the Serie A match between Roma and Salernitana (2:45 p.m. ET): Over 2.5 goals (-140) and Roma to win and score at least two goals (-125).

Bell jumps in with a pair of best bets in college football. The first is Ohio State (-13.5) to cover against Minnesota on Thursday (8 p.m. ET). "Ohio State went 7-0 against the spread in the last two seasons when favored by 20 points or fewer," he says. "They will rout Minnesota."

His second play is Ole Miss (-9.5) to cover against Louisville on Monday, Sept. 6 (8 p.m. ET). "Ole Miss has one of the best offenses and quarterbacks in the country in Matt Corral," Bell says. "Jump all over Ole Miss."

Coach is up next with two plays in the BMW Championship. The first: Erik van Rooyen (-150) over K.H. Lee (1 p.m. ET tee time). "Van Rooyen is very, very motivated," he says. "He's outside of the top 30, playing himself into the Tour Championship. This is life-changing today."

His second best bet is Sungjae Im (+100) over Abraham Ancer (1:44 p.m. ET). "Sungjae Im's numbers are fantastic," Coach says. "Ancer will have to shoot at least a 5-under today to beat Sungjae Im. I don't believe that can happen."

Perri jumps in with a pair of MLB plays. First, he likes Over 9.5 runs in the Blue Jays-Tigers game (1:10 p.m. ET). "I really think that this one, with the low air density at Comerica Park, is going to be a great place to get some extra-base hits, drive in a couple runs," Perri says.

His second play is Over 10.5 runs in the Rays-Orioles contest (1:05 p.m. ET). "(Baltimore's) Spenser Watkins (is) bad. He's just been awful," Perri says. "The Rays are going to start Chris Archer, but the primary pitcher is going to be Josh Fleming, who also has not been that great - especially on the road."

Hartstein closes things out with a prop bet in MLB - Under 5.5 strikeouts for Miami's Jesus Luzardo (-138) in the Reds-Rays game (1:10 p.m. ET). "Last time out, (Luzardo recorded) three Ks, only seven swings-and-misses in 93 pitches against the (Nationals)," Larry says. "Also, we have the No. 2 hitters' ump in all of baseball."
