Jonathan Coachman is joined by expert sports bettors Allan Bell and Mike McClure on The Early Edge podcast. They give you their best bets for the NFL and tennis for Sunday, Sept. 12.

Coach starts things off with two SportsLine Plays of the Day. The first is in the NFL: Over 53.5 in the Cardinals-Titans game (1 p.m. ET). "The Titans are an absolute Over machine," he says. "They play fast, they score a lot of points. So does Arizona."

The other is in the men's final of the U.S. Open between Novak Djokovic and Daniil Medvedev (4 p.m. ET): Djokovic to win and both players to take a set (+140). "(Djokovic) has a chance to make history, to win all four of the grand slams in one calendar year," Coach says. "We believe that he's going to do it, but we do not believe it's going to be easy."

Bell is up next with three NFL plays, the first being Kansas City -5.5 in the Browns-Chiefs contest (4:25 p.m. ET). "(Chiefs quarterback) Patrick Mahomes is 7-0 straight up in his career versus AFC North teams," he says. "The Browns are 0-15-1 straight up in Week 1 games the last 16 years and only 4-12 against the spread."

His next play is Carolina's Robby Anderson Over 4.5 receptions (-130) in the Jets-Panthers game (1 p.m. ET). "The Carolina Panthers wide receiver, formerly with the Jets, teams up with quarterback Sam Darnold, formerly with the Jets, against the Jets," Bell says. "So this is a perfect revenge game for both."

Bell's final play is Indianapolis' Carson Wentz Over 0.5 interceptions (+105) in the Seahawks-Colts contest (1 p.m. ET). "We just need to get a Carson Wentz interception, and at +105?" he says. "Beautiful number there."

McClure closes things out with a pair of NFL prop bets. The first is Arizona's Rondale Moore Over 31.5 receiving yards in the Cardinals-Titans game. "I love his upside," he says. "He's going to break out and be one of (the Cardinals') biggest weapons this season. Love him at this number."

His second play is Kansas City's Travis Kelce Over 89.5 yards in the Browns-Chiefs contest. "Yes, this is a big number," McClure says. "(But) he's the kind of player that has the upside to literally hit this number by halftime."
