Jonathan Coachman is joined by expert sports bettors Mike McClure, Allan Bell, Max Gorenstein and Larry Hartstein on The Early Edge podcast. They give you their best bets for the NFL and MLB for Sunday, Sept. 26.

McClure starts things off with an NFL teaser in the Buffalo-Washington game (1 p.m. ET): Under 51.5 and the Bills -1 (-120). "The Washington Football Team has had extra time to prepare for this game, which should help lend them to be a little bit better defensively, slow down this Bills attack just enough," Mike says. "To make matters worse for both teams, we're looking at one of our first true wind games of the NFL season this year."

Gorenstein is up next with a pair of prop bets. The first is Chicago's David Montgomery to go Over 15.5 receiving yards (-113) in the Bears-Browns game (1 p.m. ET). "Montgomery is a real threat in the passing game out of the backfield," Max says. "With Justin Fields making his first career start, Montgomery will be his comfort option, so expect Montgomery to go Over this number easily."

His second play is Baltimore's Ty'Son Williams to go Over 70.5 yards rushing and receiving combined (-114) in the Ravens-Lions contest (1 p.m. ET). "He's averaging 93.5 yards from scrimmage in his first two games," Gorenstein says. "Now he gets to face a Lions defense that just let Aaron Jones get 115 scrimmage yards and four touchdowns."

Bell chimes in with his pick: Buffalo (-7) to cover against Washington. "They're doing it on the ground and in the air," Allan says. "They're running the ball more than people think. (Washington's defense has) allowed 390-plus yards in back-to-back games. ... The Bills are going to roll today."

Hartstein closes things out with a trio of plays, including two props in the NFL. The first: Baltimore's Sammy Watkins to go Over 41.5 receiving yards (-115) in the Ravens-Lions game. "When he's healthy, this guy does produce. (In his) two games so far this year - 96 yards, 44 yards," Larry says. "If (teammate Marquise Brown) is limited at all (by his ankle), that just means more touches for Sammy Watkins."

His next play is Tampa Bay's Mike Evans to go Over 64.5 receiving yards (-120) in the Buccaneers-Rams game (4:25 p.m. ET). "(Los Angeles') Jalen Ramsey has been lining up in the slot most of the time, and (Tampa Bay's) Chris Godwin has been lining up in the slot most of the time," Larry says. "So even though Ramsey's going to be on both of them, I think it's going to affect Godwin more."

Hartstein's final play in is the MLB: Toronto -0.5 after five innings in the Blue Jays-Twins game (2:10 p.m. ET). "They have an .839 OPS in the daytime, they're 39-18 in the daytime," he says. "They're facing Griffin Jax, who has a 7.00 ERA this month, a 6.87 last month. They've won six straight starts with (Alek Manoah) on the mound."
