Allan Bell is joined by expert sports bettors Justin Perri and Micah Roberts on The Early Edge podcast. They give you their best bets for college football, the Major League Baseball playoffs and the NBA for Saturday, Oct. 23.

Roberts starts things off with Clemson (+3.5) to cover against Pitt (3:30 p.m. ET). "I am buying at the absolute low point of Clemson," he says. He adds, "I look at this as the toughest defense Pitt will face this year."

He also likes the Suns (+2.5) to cover against the Blazers (10 p.m. ET) in the NBA. "Portland is a team that did not win any preseason game," Roberts says. "They lost their opener at home against the Kings."

Perri has one pick from Game 6 of the NLCS between the Dodgers and Braves: Over eight runs (8:08 p.m. ET). "This series has gone Over in all but one game," he says. "I think with the pitching downgrade for the Dodgers, it's going to be a little tough for them."

Bell has six plays, three from college football and three from the NFL. His three college plays all come from the Alabama-Tennessee game (7 p.m. ET): Under 68 total points, Alabama (-7.5) to cover the first quarter spread and Alabama (-14.5) to cover the first half spread. "In home games this season, Alabama has outscored its opponents, 101-7, in the first half," he says.

On Sunday, he likes the Patriots (-7) to cover against the Jets (1 p.m. ET). "New England has gotten better since that [Week 2 win over the Jets]," he says. "The Jets have gotten worse since that game." He also likes the Packers (-8) to cover against Washington and the Chiefs (-3) to cover the first half spread against the Titans.
