Jonathan Coachman is joined by featured sports betting experts Mike McClure, Justin Perri and Larry Hartstein on the Early Edge podcast, powered by SportsLine. Get the best plays for MLB, the NBA playoffs and Wimbledon for Thursday, July 1.

Mike starts out explaining why he took Alexander Bublik +120 over Grigor Dimitrov at Wimbledon. It was a "coin flip," but Bublik is in peak form. Larry then looks at the impact of multiple injuries in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

The Coach reveals the SportsLine Plays of the Day from the site models and experts. He recommends the gutsy play of the Braves +147 over Jacob deGrom and the Mets at 7:20 p.m. ET. Once Atlanta gets into the New York bullpen, it will be able to erase the deGrom effect. He also backs the Padres +105 over the Reds at 7:10 p.m. ET.

Mike has a pair of picks from Hawks-Bucks at 8:30 p.m. ET. He is taking Jrue Holiday over 22.5 points, as it has been proven that Holiday will see his scoring and 3-point output rise with Giannis Antetokounmpo unavailable. He is also taking the over of 215. "We've been hammering the unders in the NBA. However, there's a few specific spots where the market has it right when it opens," he says. "I have this one up all the way to 221.7 in the simulations. The pace of play is going to pick up because the defensive efficiency is going to drop significantly on the Milwaukee side. The Bucks are also going to be shooting a lot more 3s."

Justin has a pair of MLB plays, leading with the Brewers -1.5 over the Pirates at 7:05 p.m. ET. He always goes against teams that have just left Coors Field, and the Milwaukee lineup is thriving. He also recommends the over on Twins-White Sox at 2:10 p.m. ET. Jose Berrios is more vulnerable in day games.

Yusei Kikuchi may not get hammered by Toronto, but Larry is still taking him under 6.5 strikeouts in a 1:07 p.m. ET Mariners-Blue Jays matchup. Toronto has one of the best offensive strikeout rates in MLB, and Kikuchi has not shown he can go over the number often.
