The Coach goes "three-wide" with top sports betting experts Mike McClure, Zack Cimini and Larry Hartstein on the Early Edge podcast, powered by SportsLine. Get highly recommended plays for MLB the NBA and NHL for Wednesday, May 12.

The Coach tells us where and when to catch shows fully covering golf and the Preakness Stakes. He also directs you where to chat with the SportsLine team on Discord. Mike then launches into the NBA injury report with updates on the Nets superstars, Bradley Beal, Kemba Walker, Darius Garland, Kristaps Porzingis, LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Christian Wood and more. Zack foresees a Wizards' close-game trend coming to an end. Larry talks about the highlights of Week 1 of the NFL schedule and some early lines we are seeing.

The Coach shares the SportsLine Plays of the Day, leading with the Jays and Braves over 7.5 at 7:20 p.m. ET. Both teams are hitting well and can overcome quality starting pitchers. In the NHL, he endorses the Maple Leafs and Senators under 6.5 at 8:00 p.m. ET.

Mike's featured MLB play is the Royals -1.5 over the Tigers at 7:10 p.m. ET. "This is an excellent get-right spot for them. They've got Danny Duffy on the mound against Casey Mize," he says. Mike details why Mize will be very vulnerable to the KC bats and then shines the light on a terrible Detroit offense. "Duffy should be able to run through this Tigers lineup. The Tigers are the worst offense in MLB, striking out 35 percent of the time." He sprinkles in some advanced stats to show just how awful they are. "So far, looking at their numbers, they're going to be the worst offense in the history of baseball against left-handed pitching."

Zack delivers a pair of NBA plays, including a confident pick of the Blazers +110 over the Jazz at 9:30 p.m. ET. He says this game means more to Portland in terms of their playoff positioning. He is also on the Hawks -6.5 over the Wizards at 7 p.m. ET. A string of good fortune may be running out for Washington. Larry is still heavily on triple-double legend Russell Westbrook in that matchup, taking him to go over 27.5 rebounds and assists.
