Today's picks: Why Pacers will cover vs. Blazers, plus more NBA, NFL, college football and NHL picks for Friday

Larry looks at some NFL lines you may want to jump on right now. The Coach then supplies the SportsLine Play of the Day, going with Memphis +5 over SMU on Saturday at noon ET. The Mustangs are a good team, but the Tigers will be able to score on them. 

Allie's featured NHL play is the Jets -155 over the Blackhawks at 8 p.m. ET. Winnipeg comes in hot and has dominated in recent matchups with Chicago, which has won one game so far this season. 

In the NBA, Ameer is taking the Pacers +4.5 over the Blazers at 10 p.m. ET. "The Pacers have been a really interesting team this year," he says. "They have only three wins, and two have come in their last two games. They completely beat the brakes off of the Spurs, scoring 131 in regulation without Malcolm Brogdon. He comes back after the hamstring restriction he had, plays 36 minutes, and they beat the Knicks. Now they play a Trail Blazers team that has lost three straight." Ameer also recommends the prop of Brogdon going Over 5.5 assists. 

Mike provides a trio of NBA plays, leading with the Knicks +4.5 over the Bucks at 7:30 p.m. ET. This is a good spot to catch Milwaukee without Khris Middleton. He is also on the Spurs -3.5 over the Magic at 7 p.m. ET. Orlando lacks the depth to hang with San Antonio. Mike finishes with the Hornets +2 over the Kings at 10 p.m. ET. Sacramento is playing its third game in four days against an opponent that will push the pace. 

In the NFL, Larry is riding with the Falcons +7 over the Saints on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET. This will be a letdown for New Orleans after a big Week 8 win. In Vikings-Ravens on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET, he recommends Kirk Cousins Over 35.5 passing attempts and Lamar Jackson Over 59.5 rushing yards.
