Today's picks: Why Grizzlies will cover vs. Mavericks, plus more MLB and NBA picks for May 11, 2021

He is also on the Red Sox -125 over the A's at 7:10 p.m. ET. Chris Bassitt has enjoyed working in some favorable circumstances recently, but he won't be in a friendly environment in this matchup. 

In the NBA, Zack is taking the Grizzlies +2 over the Mavericks at 8:00 p.m. ET. "They are in a back-to-back scenario, but I like them in this scenario," he says. "I think their confidence is up after clinching a play-in spot yesterday. I also think they have revenge on their minds after losing twice to the Dallas Mavericks twice so far this year. I think they are due. You don't say that much in the NBA, but the Grizzlies are just 2-5-1 ATS over their last eight games."

Larry is going back to Michael Porter Jr. as his featured NBA prop play in Nuggets-Hornets at 8 p.m. ET. He is looking for Porter to go over 23.5 points, because he believes no one on Charlotte can effectively cover the Denver star.
