Jonathan Coachman is joined by top betting experts Mike McClure, Matt Severance, Zack Cimini and Allan Bell on the Early Edge podcast, powered by SportsLine. Get prime plays for the MLB playoffs, NFL, college football and NHL for Thursday, October 14.

Matt considers how Kyrie Irving will affect the win totals for the Brooklyn Nets. Zack reveals some adverse trends that may impact the Broncos' outlook against the Raiders in Week 6. Allan reveals how consistent the Patriots have been in terms of team totals.

The Coach drops one of the SportsLine Plays of the Day, backing the Senators +145 over the Maple Leafs at 7 p.m. ET. Toronto may be worn down on the second night of back-to-back games. Allie O 'Neill then joins the show for the second featured NHL selection, as she is going with the Golden Knights over the Kings at -140 at 10:30 p.m. ET. Cal Petersen did not fare well against Las Vegas last season.

Mike's top prop play for Buccaneers-Eagles at 8:20 p.m. ET is Antonio Brown Over 5.5 receptions. Tom Brady does not trust his tight ends with Rob Gronkowski out, and Brown will be more than just a deep threat on Thursday night.

Matt delivers a four-pack of picks, including the Predators -125 over the Kraken at 8 p.m. ET. It is already apparent that Seattle will be a consistently beatable opponent. In Game 5 of the NLDS, he is riding with the Dodgers -105 over the Giants at 9:07 p.m. ET. "They've been shut out twice and they've exploded twice," he says." I consider the starting pitching matchup between Logan Webb and Julio Urias basically a wash. Just reading some of the Giants beat writers, they're concerned that Gabe Kapler overused his two best relievers, Tyler Rogers and Jake McGee." Matt points to Los Angeles' big-game experience as an advantage. "Overall, the Dodgers have been in this position plenty in recent years, winner take all games, and the Giants simply haven't,"

In college football, Matt is taking South Alabama -155 over Georgia Southern at 7:30 p.m. ET, as the Eagles' one-dimensional offense will be easy to defend. His highlighted NFL play is the Browns -2.5 over the Cardinals on Sunday at 4:05 p.m. ET. Arizona will be missing some key players and Cleveland will pound the Cardinals at will with their outstanding ground game.

Zack provides another prop play for Tampa Bay-Philadelphia, recommending DeVonta Smith Over 71.5 receiving yards. The rookie is quickly rising and has been the dominant receiver in the Philadelphia passing game.

Allan provides a quartet of plays, beginning with Florida -10.5 over LSU on Saturday at noon ET. This is a revenge game for the Gators, and the Tigers have suffered some key personnel losses. He is also on Ole Miss and Tennessee to go Under 82 points on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET. In the NFL, Allan is taking the Packers -4.5 over the Bears on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET, and the Broncos -3.5 over the Raiders at 4:25 p.m. ET. The Raiders are struggling on offense and the Broncos are desperate for a win.
