Today's picks: Why Delon Wright is a top prop play vs. Grizzlies, plus more MLB, NBA and EPL selections for Thursday

The Coach brings in featured sports betting experts Mike McClure and Larry Hartstein on the Early Edge podcast, powered by SportsLine. Get your top plays for MLB the NBA and EPL for Thursday, May 13.

The Coach opens by telling us about special episodes this week for golf, the Preakness Stakes and MMA, and how you can chat with the Early Edge hosts prior to game times later in the day. Larry urges you to follow a highly successful newcomer on SportsLine. Mike then launches into his NBA injury rundown, with updates on Myles Turner, Joel Embiid, Jimmy Butler, Derrick Rose, Buddy Hield and many more. 

The Bjue Jays and Braves have an early start at 12:20 p.m. ET, and the Coach backs Atlanta -153 in a revenge spot. He also spotlights three EPL plays from Manchester United-Liverpool at 3:15 p.m. ET. The Coach endorses Liverpool to win at +135, for the teams to go Over 2.5 goals and for both squads to score at -157. 

Mike's MLB Play of the Day is also from the Toronto-Atlanta game. He is on the Braves -0.5 for the first five innings. He has concerns about Ross Stripling, and he details advanced stats that indicate Charlie Morton is due for a turnaround. Mike then answers questions about his approach to money lines vs. run lines. 

Larry's recommended NBA prop play is Over 15.5 points in a fast-paced Kings-Grizzlies matchup at 8 p.m. ET. "In five starts this month he is averaging 18 points per game. He was their best player the last time out," Larry says of Wright. "He was a plus 28 and almost had a triple double. We know there will be no De'Aaron Fox for the Kings, but also no Marvin Bagley. It's basically Wright, Hield and Holmes as the three main scorers in the starting lineup." In MLB, Larry is taking the Phillies on the money line in the first five innings over the Nationals at 1:05 p.m. ET. He points to surface and advanced stats that don't bode well for Patrick Corbin.
