Today's picks: Why Cowboys-Buccaneers Over is the play, plus more NFL, MLB and soccer picks for Thursday

Mike guides us to some options for "free money", pointing out that are a lot of promotions to take advantage of, Allan says the Cowboys have a tough draw tonight, but their schedule eases up afterwards. Matt looks at possible scheduling disadvantages for the Patriots this season. Larry considers the huge impact of the Austin Ekeler injury for the Chargers. 

The Coach delivers the SportsLine Plays of the Day, and both are World Cup Qualifiers. He highlights Uruguay and Ecuador both to score at 6:30 p.m. ET and Brazil win to nil over Peru at 8:30 p.m. ET. 

Mike then kicks off the long-awaited run of NFL picks, taking the Cowboys and Buccaneers to go Over 51.5 points at 8:20 p.m. ET. "These two teams were top five in terms of pace of play last year." he says. "Now with Zack Martin out for the Cowboys, knowing they go up against such a great run defense, I really expect them to kind of abandon the run in a way. I think that Zeke will still get his touches out of the backfield, but I expect an even quicker pace of play for the Cowboys."

Allan reveals a very interesting trend that puts him on Dallas +3 for the first quarter. Tampa Bay may still win, but Allan reveals big reasons why to take the Cowboys to lead heading into the second quarter. 

Matt has a six-point teaser that features the Buccaneers -2.5 and the Rams -1.5 on Sunday at 8:20 p.m. ET. He says both teams will certainly win by at least a field goal. He is also highly recommending Washington in a pick 'em spot with the Chargers on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET. Los Angeles' offensive line issues will be a major problem against the Washington defensive front. 

Larry's featured MLB selection is the Braves -0.5 in the first five innings against the Nationals at 7:20 p.m. ET. Atlanta has a big edge in the pitching matchup.
