Jonathan Coachman is joined by top betting experts Justin Perri, Zack Cimini and Larry Hartstein on the Early Edge podcast, powered by SportsLine. Get prime plays for the NFL, MLB playoffs and CONCACAF World Cup qualifiers for Wednesday, Oct. 13.

Zack reflects on how he will adjust his approach to college football plays for the upcoming weekend. Larry discusses the impact of a potential major player absence in the Cardinals-Browns showdown in Week 6 of NFL action.

The Coach delivers the SportsLine Play of the Day, backing Mexico in the first half at +105 over El Salvador in a CONCACAF World Cup qualifier at 10:05 p.m. ET

Justin looks ahead to the ALCS and takes the Astros -155 to win the series, which begins with Game 1 on Friday at 8:07 p.m. ET. The Houston lineup is stacked all the way down to the seventh spot in the batting order. The Astros should get the early jump on the Red Sox in the first game.

Zack has two prop plays for Buccaneers-Eagles on Thursday at 8:20 p.m. ET. The first is Zach Ertz Over 64.5 receiving yards. "I liked this prop before I even knew Dallas Goedert was going to be out," he says. "Zach Ertz, the old veteran, was only playing 50 to 60 percent of the snaps in the new Eagle formations. He's probably going to be on the field more than 80 percent of the time now. The Buccaneers have been vulnerable against tight ends this year." He is also on Chris Godwin Over 44.5 receiving yards. The Tom Brady/Godwin connection is more productive on the road.

Larry is putting strong faith in the Lions, taking Detroit +3.5 over Cincinnati on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET. The Lions are winless and banged up, but have been playing hard and will not back down against the Bengals.
