The Coach is joined by top sports betting experts Mike McClure and Larry Hartstein on the Early Edge podcast, powered by SportsLine. Get your top plays for MLB, the NBA and NHL for Thursday, May 27.

Coach and Larry supply the information about the Thursday night livestream, then Mike tells us about the impact of the Reds-Nationals suspended game from Wednesday and how those types of situations will play out for bettors. Larry covers why he is being cautious on Jimmy Butler props in Bucks-Heat at 7:30 p.m. ET.

We are given three SportsLine Plays of the Day from the site models and experts, leading with the NHL playoffs, as the Coach spotlights the Predators +120 over the Hurricanes at 9:30 p.m. ET. Home ice will continue to be an advantage in this series. In MLB, he offers up the selections of the Padres and Ryan Weathers -125 over the Brewers at 1:10 p.m. ET, and the Rangers -108 over the Mariners at 10:10 p.m. ET.

Mike loves afternoon baseball, and the Cubs are always fun in the daytime, so he takes Chicago -1.5 over Pittsburgh at 12:35 p.m. ET. The Cubs offense is always a strong play against lefties, and Chicago is a prime pick vs. Tyler Anderson, who struggles at home. In the same game, Larry goes with Kyle Hendricks Over 4.5 strikeouts, as he has performed much better in the month of May.

Larry's featured NBA prop play is Deandre Ayton Over 14.5 points in Suns-Lakers at 10 p.m. ET. "Ayton has made 21 of 24 from the field and is playing 39 and a half minutes," he says of Ayton's stats in the first two games of the NBA playoff series. "Without Chris Paul scoring, the wings aren't producing for the Suns. It's basically been Devin Booker and Ayton. He had 15 points in two of the three regular season games and got there easily in the first two games of this series."
