The Jaguars have emerged as a Sun Belt contender behind a 3-1 start that has featured a versatile, potent offense and a solid defense. However, their one defeat gained the most national attention as they came up just one point short against UCLA a couple weeks ago. The Cajuns have taken a step back, as evidenced by last week's loss at UL-Monroe and another to Rice two weeks ago. Evenso, the Cajuns have dominated this series of late. Granted, Louisiana isn't what it was under Billy Napier and had a 16-game winning streak against Sun Belt West opponents snapped last week but getting 9 at home? USA is 0-5 all-time at Cajun Field, including a 38-10 loss in 2020. UL has won both home games fairly easily so far and it's homecoming. South Alabama is 2-6 ATS in its past eight away.
