Just as standout PG Lamont Butler was rounding back into form from a shoulder injury, he aggravated it Thursday and sat out the second half of Kentucky's last-gasp win. It would be silly for first-year coach Mark Pope to activate him here. Tellingly, 'Bama beat the Wildcats by 13 when they were missing Butler and by five when he played. As much as Pope wants to notch an SEC title, Kentucky is locked into the NCAAs. It would be prudent to withhold Butler, which should lead to a Crimson Tide cover.
