This is a huge game for Pitt's NCAA Tournament chances, after the Panthers lost the home meeting with Clemson by nine. Pitt enters on an 8-2 ATS tear and should be competitive in this spot. The Panthers are 6-2-1 ATS in true road games and have done a great job lately of defending 3-pointers. Back Blake Hinson and the Panthers to keep it close.

It is not lost upon anyone in the Steel City that Pitt flubbed its last big chance on the ACC road when getting bombed at Wake Forest last week; that was only the Panthers’ second loss in ten games, and came after key road wins at Duke and Virginia. Yet, after digging themselves a hole in January, Jeff Capel’s troops have little margin for error if they want to make a return visit to the Dance. This won’t be easy, especially after the Tigers already beat the Panthers by 9 back on December 3. Trendlines for Brad Brownell’s team, however, suggest problems vs. the spread at home, where Clemson has covered just twice in eight ACC battles since the start of January. Play Pitt
