Marquette has been aching for this rematch since the Badgers scored an 80-77 OT win last December 3. The Golden Eagles rallied back from an 11-point halftime deficit and are hellbent not to fall that far behind again. The new Wiscy was outclassed in early November by Tennessee and Providence, and Greg Gard's teams usually shoot better than 30% beyond the arc. Shaka Smart's Golden Eagles showed well in the Maui Tourney at Honolulu last week, reaching the final and covering spreads in all three games (at least those who got 3.5 vs. Purdue in the title game), and important pieces (PG Tyler Kolek, wing Kam Jaones, F Oso Ighodaro) still in the mix from the big campaign last season.
