Both lineups are well below average with several young player from the minors. Both pitchers excell in this split with Mitch Keller pitching far bettter at home than he has on the road. Josiah Gray has been far better on the road then in his home games. I like both guys stuff and they should be able to keep two weak lineups in check.
Three's Company! And I don't mean the envy I felt as a kid watching Jack Tripper get to live with Chrissy and to a MUCH less extent Janet. Jack was the man! And, yes, I own a Regal Beagle T-shirt. No I mean that I've hit three straight MLB totals for the first time since I don't even know when. I was going to play Bucs ML here but their lineup leaves a lot to be desired behind ace Mitch Keller. He has been excellent at home and should keep that Nats lineup (which does look better than PIT's today so I thought about +1.5) mostly in check. Washington's Josiah Gray has been vastly better away.
Mitch Keller was crushed by the Braves in his last start, giving up eight runs over five innings in Atlanta. The Braves have arguably the best lineup in baseball, so it’s no surprise that Keller was hit hard. He has also struggled on the road, where he has a 5.15 ERA and a 1.42 WHIP. At home, he has been much better with a 3.18 ERA and a 1.12 WHIP. Starting for the Nationals will be Josiah Gray, who will be making his first start in 11 days after having his last turn in the rotation skipped. Over his previous six starts, he had an 8.49 ERA and 1.93 WHIP. Give me the home team to win.
